Terrorists? Rebels? Extremists? Freedom fighters? Who are they, what do they want and what are they doing? In the media one can get very different descriptions of the Free Syrian Army, from echos of Assad’s scorn calling them terrorists or henchmen of foreign countries, to videos put online by groups of themselves on Youtube and showing heroic fighters.
We want to present you here some more private insights in the everyday life of some people of the armed part of the revolution in Syria, the FSA. Instead of stylizing them in one direction or the other, we want to show you that behind a war, behind every gun there is just a human being.
